An Evening Stroll.

The wandering highlights of your hair
Caress the city air,
Distilling breath to laughter.
As we douse the fires of the ratrace
With the flowing country landscape
And no thought spared to after.

The cobbles wend a crooked path
Until atlast
The looming light canopy parts
To soothe our souls
We watch unfold
The stellar spiral dance.

The glimmering highlights of your hair
Caress the fragrant air
Distilling breath to laughter
Tonight indeed
Are spirits freed
With no thoughts spared to after.
